Morgan County is home to over 120,000 people with an average age of 39 Years old. More than 28,000 of residents are under the age of 18. Of those over 18, 23,000 are married. It’s not hard to gather that Morgan County is full of families, so it’s vital that we have a top-notch ministry to families and children. Grace Place Kids is Fairview's experience for infants through grade 6 and is held during Sunday and Wednesday services. Kids are invited to connect with God as they experience engaging and compelling Bible teaching, music, small group discussion and age-appropriate activities. Grace Place Kids uses Orange curriculum. SUNDAYS IN Grace Place Kids Infants & Toddlers (1 adult per 3 kids) … interact with others, play with friends, listen to Bible stories and sing and move in worship. Ages 3 (1 adult & 1 student helper per 8 kids; ) … Kids play with others in a small-group setting before coming together to worship God through music and experience an age-appropriate, creative encounter with scripture. The time concludes with snack and further group activities. Ages 4-5 (1 adult and 1 student helper per 8 kids) … Kids play with others before coming together to worship God through music and experience an age-appropriate, creative encounter with scripture. The time concludes with snack and small-group activities that reinforce the day’s teaching. K-4th Grade (3 adults, 6- 8 student helpers – avg 50 kids each week) … Kids experience a variety of activities before coming together to worship God through music. The Bible is then brought to life through a creative and compelling time of storytelling and large-group interaction. Kids then explore scripture together in consistent age and gender-specific small groups. Grades 5-6 (1 adult per 12 kids) … Kids experience a variety of activity opportunities before coming together to worship God through music. A time of teaching is then followed by kids connecting with God and each other in age and gender-specific small groups. FIRST TIME TO Grace Place Kids? We suggest arriving 15-20 minutes early to allow adequate time to register your kids and get them to the appropriate areas. Site maps can be found at all of our check in stations. All children must be dropped off by a parent in their area and picked up after the service by an adult with a matching claim/name tag. No child is released without a valid claim tag. SECURITY Safety is the top value at Grace Place Kids, it’s what allows everything else to happen. We are committed to protecting each and every child entrusted to us. All Grace Place Kids team members undergo an extensive protection process, including a background check, references and a personal interview. We use a secure check-in system to ensure kids are checked in and out by the same individuals. In addition to these measures, Grace Place Kids is also staffed by trained members of Fairview the Grace Place security team. These individuals patrol Grace Place Kids throughout the morning to ensure its safety and security.
